The Zoom classic whiteboard allows the host and participants to collaborate using annotation tools in a live meeting. The classic whiteboard is available when launching screen sharing.
Zoom Whiteboard is a persistent digital canvas that can be created in advance, shared, edited, and managed using the desktop client and the Zoom web portal. The Classic Whiteboard is available in all meetings for impromptu sharing. The Zoom Whiteboard can be used both in a live meeting or outside of a meeting, with options to create, save, and share work or templates. . Whiteboard collaborators have access to a wide variety of controls and sharing options to help make working together easier.
Classic Whiteboard

Enable settings in your account: Meeting > In Meeting (Basic) > Whiteboard (Classic)
- In the live meeting click the Share Screen icon located on the meeting toolbar.
- Select Whiteboard then Share.
- The annotation tools will automatically appear, you can also press the Whiteboard option in the meeting controls to show or hide the tools.
- Use the page controls in the bottom right corner of the whiteboard to create new pages or switch between pages.
Zoom In-Meeting Whiteboard
Pre-requisites:
1. Update to the latest version of Zoom.
2. Enable settings in your account Meeting > Whiteboard> In-meeting Whiteboard.
Using the Zoom Whiteboard
- Start the meeting.
- Click the up-caret next to the Whiteboard icon to open the dialogue box and select sharing options. Close the dialog box when selections are made.
3. Click the Whiteboard icon to create a new or existing whiteboard or template.
