TechConnect Cloud Video Embed Code in Canvas

TechConnect Cloud (3C Media) users can add videos to their Canvas course using TechConnect Cloud embed codes. Below are the instructions.

Sign in to your TechConnect Cloud account.

  1. Click Media on the left navigation.  
  2. Click the title of the video to embed.
  3. In the Link and Embed section, go to Embed Code and click Copy.

Sign in to your district or college Canvas account.

  1. Within your Canvas course, locate the Rich Text Editor and click the three vertical dots to expand additional toolbar options.

  2. Click the cloud icon.

  3. Paste the embed code and click the Submit button.

  4. After clicking Submit, the embedded video will display in the Rich Content Editor.

Note: Videos uploaded under Media, as well as video folders, will have embed codes. Files uploaded under the Files tab will not have embed codes. Although we are in the process of rebranding 3C Media Solutions to TechConnect Cloud, the LTI in Canvas is still branded as "3C Media".
