Using the student note taking template in PlayPosit

Every bulb, whether an instructor adds interactions or not, will have access to bulb review, notes, and transcript (if closed captions were made available).

 

Students can type in notes at any point while watching a bulb. The notes are visible to the student and instructor only and are time-stamped & navigational, searchable, and downloadable.

There is a great template that was created by PlayPosit that includes instructions for students on how to locate and use the notes section.

Once you have linked your video to PlayPosit and your video segment has been added, click on Apply Template.

Then select the Learner Notes template by clicking on Apply.

The template displays as below. It includes a gif that shows the student how to find the notes section and how to type in notes, as well as written out instructions on note taking. You can edit any of these areas by clicking on the text itself.
