Creating a bulb with a TechConnect Cloud (3C Media) video source

The PlayPosit integration with TechConnect Cloud (3C Media) allows California community college partners to add interactivity and accountability to all TechConnect Cloud-hosted video content. As a California community college your integration between PlayPosit and TechConnect Cloud is established during the on boarding process and verified with your Canvas administrator.  California community college faculty and instructional designers can add TechConnect Cloud content into PlayPosit bulbs using the following steps outlined below:

Log in to your college’s instance of Canvas, select your course and click to edit an existing assignment, or create a new assignment.

1. Navigate down to Submission Type, select External Tool, select Find, scroll through the external tool choices and select PlayPosit
2. Select Enter PlayPosit
3. Navigate to the PlayPosit Dashboard and click Add New Bulb
4. Select 3C MEDIA from the listed video sources.
5. OPTION 1: In the search field type the title or partial title of your video

OPTION 2: Paste a 3C Media video share link into the search field

Now that you added video to your bulb, you can follow steps outlined in the next section to add interactivity.
