When you join a ConferZoom meeting hosted by another user, you are considered an attendee, with limited features control. The host can elevate any attendee to a co-host.
Attendees Feature Controls
1. Mute / Unmute
a. Mute and unmute your microphone.
b. Audio Controls (click the ^ arrow next to Mute / Unmute) to change the microphone and
speaker that Zoom is currently using on your computer, and access the full audio settings.
2. Start Video / Stop Video
a. Turns your camera on or off.
b. Video Controls (click the ^ arrow next to Start Video / Stop Video) to change cameras if
you have multiple cameras, or access your full video settings.
a. Invite others to join your meeting.
a. See who's currently in the meeting.
b. Rename yourself to change how your name appears to others.
5. Non-verbal Feedback
a. Icons places a notification icon next to your name.
For example, Raise Hand places the raised hand icon beside your name.
Note: The host must enable the feature in their account settings for Meetings.
6. Share Screen: Start a screen share (if the host allows). You will be able to select the desktop
or application you want to share.
7. Chat: Access the chat window to chat with the participants. Learn more.
8. Record: Start or stop a local recording. Attendees do not have access to start a cloud
Note: The host must allow local recoring in their account settings, then give attendees permission to record. If this is not pre-set, attendees can request permission from the host while in the meeting.
9. Leave Meeting: Leave the meeting at any time; only the host can end the meeting.
Note: If the host removes a participant from the meeting, the participant cannot rejoin.
