ZOOM FOR OUTLOOK: PLUGIN vs. ADD-IN

The Zoom Plugin for Microsoft Outlook allows the user to start or schedule meetings from the Microsoft Outlook sidebar.  

Zoom recommends using the Zoom for Outlook add-in (web and desktop).

• The Zoom for Outlook add-in allows you to manage scheduling within the Outlook web and desktop apps. 
• The add-in can be deployed and configured by Outlook admins.
• Once installed by users, it allows the user to add a Zoom meeting to a new or existing Outlook calendar event.
