This presentation addressed how to keep your learners engaged in online or blended learning environments using PlayPosit, provided to your districts by CCC TechConnect.  Transform passive video content into active learning experiences to:

• Increase learner engagement and motivation.

• Improve knowledge, retention and understanding.

• Deliver effective online, blended, or flipped learning experiences.

The PlayPosit platform allows instructors to: 

• Create interactive video lessons ("bulbs") using existing videos from 3C Media, YouTube, Vimeo, and other video host platforms. 

• Embed engaging activities like quizzes, polls, discussions, and more directly into your videos.

• Promote deeper understanding by fostering active participation and critical thinking.

• Gain valuable insights with detailed analytics that track learner progress and identify areas for improvement.

Q: We have faculty teaching at different campuses, is it possible to copy assignments and courses created
     across campus logins?

A:  The Bulbs can be shared with other instructors through the link; they will be able to copy the Bulbs
      into their own account. To collaborate in the course, the instructors need to be in the same
      institution.  For more information:

Q:  Is there a way to save a template for a Bulb with all the settings that you like rather than having to
      adjust them every time?
A:  Yes, instructors can adjust the default settings for the interactions and Bulbs from the User Settings
      section, which will apply to all the interactions and Bulbs you create in the future. For more

Q:  If a student is limited to taking a Bulb only one time, does that preclude students from replaying the
      video entirely?  After completing the Bulb, students can re-watch the video without completing the
      embedded interactions?

A:  Students can always re-watch the video without limits.  If the Bulb is set only to allow one attempt,
     then they will not be able to re-answer the questions.

Q:  From the student's viewpoint, does a PlayPosit assignment in Canvas require any unique technical
      needs, such as using only Google chrome, etc.?

A:  Most devices and browsers can access PlayPosit without issues. For more information about the
