Zoom Appointments is part of the TechConnect Zoom app in Canvas. Appointments allows the instructor to offer 1:1 meetings with students for office hours, tutoring, counseling, and other private meetings.
- Instructors can create a schedule of available appointments; each time period appears in the student's view where they can reserve an available time.
- Both the instructor and the student will receive a confirming email once the appointment is reserved.
- The Waiting Room feature is recognized when using Appointments.
- Recording is an option when hosting an appointment; if 'Automatic recording' is enabled in your account, the session will automatically record.
